About The Deepdene Trail

The Deepdene Trail is a walking route just outside Dorking town centre that takes visitors through the restored grounds of the historic Deepdene estate. The trail includes woodland paths, landscaped terraces, viewpoints, historic ruins, mausoleums and interpretation boards explaining the area’s links to Thomas Hope and the lost Deepdene House. With multiple route lengths available, it works well for both short walks and longer countryside rambles close to town.
