About Leith Hill

Leith Hill is one of Surrey’s most reliable countryside days out, combining dense woodland, scenic walking trails and far-reaching views from its famous Gothic tower at the summit. Managed by the National Trust, the area attracts everyone from serious hikers to families looking for an easy weekend walk, with routes ranging from gentle woodland loops to more demanding hill climbs. Unlike some of Surrey’s busier beauty spots, Leith Hill still feels properly rural in places, which is a large part of its appeal.
